This font style was produced motivated from the so called "Litterarum latinarum, quas italicas, cursoriasque vocant, scribendum Ratio" (Louvain 1540), a manual intended to calligraphers by the well understood scientist Gerhard Mercator.
It was a magnificent "Cancellaresca corsiva" patern, enriched with lots of alternates, final loops and ligatures.
We have actually included a great deal of accented and other characters who was not existing in the initial, for a contemporary use.
