1543 German Deluxe was published by GLC. 1543 German Deluxe contains 3 designs and family plan choices. p > This family was inspired by the sets of fonts used in 1543 by Michael Isengrin, printer in Basel (Germany) to print the splendid New Kreüterbuch ...( New organic ...), with many good images, the masterpiece of Leonhart Fuchs, daddy of the contemporary botany.

It is a Schwabacher pattern, with 3 different sets of font styles, small ( ± 4mm for the upper case) in the primary text, bigger for titles ( ± 8mm for the upper case) and big Initials or lettrines (5 lines of primary text).

This typeface consists of basic ligatures and German historical ligatures (German double s, long s, tz, ch, ...) and diacritics (special umlaut 'e superscript' and '∞' unstead of dieresis with letters a, o and u,) naturally, we have actually added various letters doing not have in the initial to permit a modern usage of the font.

It can be used in enhance with 1538 Schwabacher or/and 1534 Fraktur.
