1565 Renaissance consists of 1 design. p > This set of initial letters was motivated from French renaissance embellished letters. It is a typical pattern, one amongst lots rather comparable, however this one remained in use in Paris, unchanged, for centuries, and was still in usage in the beginning of 1900s. This explains the distinction in between I and J, U and V. These characters were inscribed years after the original set.
Our typeface was influenced from a late 1800s publication. It can be used too with Humane typefaces (like our 1543 Humane Janson or 1592 GLC Garamond) just like contemporary typefaces like our 1820 Modern or 1906 French News.
