1791 Constitution was developed by Gilles Le Corre and released by GLC. 1791 Constitution contains 1 design. p > In the year 1791, the 20th of June, the king of France Louis XVI tried to flight from Paris to the Luxembourg. He was intercepted on the roadway and required to Paris once again on the 21st. A few month later on, in September, the first French democratic constitution was promulgated, moving the sovereignty from the king to the French people.

This font was created influenced from the steady hand of a legal representative writing a farm renting agreement a few days after the advent of the new French regime.

It is a 'Pro' font containing Western (consisting of Celtic) and Northern European, Icelandic, Baltic, Eastern, Central European and Turquish diacritics. The many alternates and ligatures enable to made the font looking as closely as possible to a real hand. Utilizing an OTF software, the functions allow to differ the characters without anything to do however to choose contextual alternates and basic ligatures and/or stylistic alternates choices.
