2009 Primitive was published by GLC. 2009 Primitive consists of 1 design. p > This is not a traditionally accurate typeface but rather one designated capture the spirit of ancient Roman manual type. It was motivated by various patterns used in files and books developed by Latin scribes between the 2nd and 4th centuries. They utilized either calamus and ink on papyrus, or a pointed metal stick on wax tablets.

We have actually produced the font for contemporary use; comparing U and V, I and J, which had no significance for ancient Latin scribes, and including thorn, Oslash, Lslash, W, Y and typical accented characters that did not exist at the time. A lot of titlings and contextual alternates complete the set. Offered only in TTF and OTF format.
