Concepts like spontaneity, speed and fluidity, associated with the usage of particular calligraphic tools-- in this case the pointed brush-- resulted in a typographic outcome based on the pattern-like structure originating from the chancery and italic calligraphic models.
" Abelina" - at first designed by Yanina Arabena (Calligrapher, Graphic Designer and Typographer) - is reborn to give way for "Abelina Pro" through the strong work of Guillermo Vizzari collaborating with Ale Paul from Sudtipos.
Throughout its usage, "Abelina Pro" keeps the structure of a firm design, incorporating a vibrant rhythm in the structure of brief texts and offering personality to each of the words it builds. It has over a thousand glyphs, including several alternates, ligatures combination, initials and miscellaneous to strengthen the concept of the author of merging a calligraphic job in the typographic world; allowing brand-new methods to record this terrific universe of italic faces.
" Abelina" job was at first born as a typographic task established by Yanina Arabena-- tutored by Ale Paul and Ana Sanfelippo-- under completion of the Expertise in Typography Design at University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, throughout the years 2011 and 2012.
