The Adagio Household belongs of Mateusz Machalski's, Warsaw Academy of arts Master Degree Diploma in multimedia studio, conducted by Teacher Stanisław Wieczorek and his brave PHD Jakub Wróblewski. Adagio is a modern-day type family. It includes 3 main varieties: sans, serif and slab. Each one of them has it's own "real italic" set. All of the designs together have more than 400 characters in 9 various thicknesses. The Adagio family was produced primarily for business identities. The idea was to produce a vast array of various varieties which are stylistically constant.
Adagio Serif - Characterises with strong contrast and high detail in calligraphic character cuts, what provides it a light sensation. Unlike the Slab version, serif range has unbalanced serifs. Thanks to big X length, and extremely extended descenders, it also works appropriate in longer text, while its strong detail is excellent for headings. The Serif version is a terrific complement for Adagio Sans and Adagio Slab.
