Aelita is a low contrast serif typeface in 6 styles. It's differentiated by lowercase character alternates that visibly alter the text pattern. The main character set is rather rigorous and is defined by sharp and clear terminals and stiff junctions in between stems and bowls. Alternates are more facile and calligraphic. Neutral style of the main character set makes the typeface ideal for clinical and literary texts. Alternates are preferably matched for sci-fi, fantasy and art books. The typeface was designed by Natalia Vasilyeva and released by ParaType in 2014.
