Aeronaut ™ has been motivated by "Kirchengotische Schrift," a font style that can be found in a German typeface book from 1879 entitled "Vorlegeblätter für Firmenschreiber." Provided it's name, it was developed for spiritual publication.
The glyphs of Aeronaut ™ are originated from Textualis also referred to as Textura or Gothic Bookhand. Textualis represented the most calligraphic type of blackletter types and is today considered as quintessentially Gothic.
The decorative components of Aeronaut ™, the swashes we call parachutes and the squiggly arrows of the upper-case characters soften the font's Gothic look. It's the reason that we labeled it a "Neogothic typeface that radiates trendy ease." Make it as modern as you like it to be.
