Agency Gothic was originally created by Morris Fuller Benton in 1932 as an entitling typeface. CastleType was commissioned to digitize 2 members of the household, Company Gothic Condensed and Firm Gothic Open, by Publish magazine for their May 1990 redesign. Consequently, other weights and designs were contributed to the CastleType revival, consisting of Company Gothic CT Vibrant and the extremely popular Company Gothic CT Inline.
