It was Benton's intent to fix numerous diverse layout problems with the development of a narrow Sans with various width worths. The Alternate Gothic takes pleasure in great appeal to this day. For that reason, Elsner+ Flake re-worked the typeface family, included all European set accents and complemented it with an Antique version.
