Altissimo is a sans serif typeface family. This typeface has seven designs and was published by SoneriType.

Altissimo is a display screen type household, derived from Ample typeface, it has big x-height, optical monolinear and a bit squarish in nature. It has a smooth curve instead of sharp angles formed by the junction of 2 strokes, which is a popular function of its design.

It is developed to be a little appealing yet clear. It has clear and distinguishable letterforms, which assists to elaborate and stress the message. It is graphically strong and commands viewer's attention. The total appearance of type appropriates for setting it as heading, title, headline, etc.
