AltivoDesigner: Nikola Kostić
Publisher: Kostic
Altivo was developed by Nikola Kostić and released by Kostic. Altivo includes 16 styles and household plan alternatives. p > Altivo is a proper workhorse sans serif. Sixteen OpenType fonts in 8 weights (with real Italics) range from Thin to Ultra. Careful care was taken to guarantee high legibility in text sizes on the screen. The typeface is developed to have wide percentages, generous x-height, loose spacing, ink traps, large apertures and low stroke contrast. Altivo's ink traps are not just a practical style feature, they likewise look fascinating and provide character to the typeface in headlines. Real Italics, little caps and several sets of figures, along with a complete set of lowercase superscript were all included in the family to accommodate high typographic standards. If you require to combine it with a serif font style, you can't go incorrect with Chiavettieri, since both typefaces were made with the very same basic percentages, and their tabular figures are the same width.
