Amazônia was created by Sofia Mohr, Sebastián Águila and released by Sofia Mohr. Amazônia includes 2 designs and family plan alternatives. p > Amazônia is a multidisciplinary design task that joins type style, illustration and web style with the whole function of creating conscience about the threaten wildlife of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.

The primary element of this typographic system is Amazônia Script, a type style inspired in the unique wildlife of the Amazon. Entirely drawn in brush pen by Sofia Mohr, it's a versatile typeface that includes 762 slightly rugged and condensed glyphs, with fast and curved strokes, swashes (for capital and lower case letters) and alternate characters.

It also consists of an ornamental variant: Amazônia Life, a font design developed by designer Sebastián Águila, that consists of a set of icons representing endangered animals of the Amazon jungle. It includes 52 animal dingbats, with stylistic alternates for dark background use, making it a 104 glyphs font.

As a complementary component to the typeface system, a set of illustrations were developed by Soledad Águila and coloured by Sebastián Águila that are utilized in the specimens and graphic support material.
