Created by Dave Rowland, Amica Pro is a sans serif typeface family. This typeface has eighteen designs and was published by Schizotype Fonts.

Welcome Amica Pro, a workhorse sans created to provide your branding a friendly, friendly appearance. What is it that makes a typeface friendly? Schizotype carried out comprehensive research * in this and the results are in! To cut a long story short, friendliness in sans serif fonts can be summarized in two words-- short and fat. Generally, believe Danny DeVito in letter type. The shortness in Amica Pro is achieved (somewhat counterintuitively) by rising the x-height. This, paired with short ascenders and descenders, gives the text a squat look. For the fatness, that's easy in the bolder weights, but how to bring this through to the lights? Here, the fatness relates to roundness, so the letterforms, even if the stroke weight is light, have a rotund look from the wideness and roundness of the circular glyphs.
When considering friendliness, we believe about inclusiveness. To this end, Amica Pro supports a very wide variety of latin-based languages, as it utilizes Underware's Latin Plus character set, as well as additional support for Vietnamese.
Amica Pro is best used for branding, logo designs, infographics etc. It will offer your UI a friendlier feel, but that does not suggest it's not serious. There are numerous useful typographic functions, consisting of alternates, many figure styles, automated portions and case-sensitive kinds. The italics are carefully optically fixed "sloped romans" and as such they are the exact same width as their upright equivalent, so altering your copy to italics will not mess around with the spacing.
