Arazatí was motivated by Edward Johnston's typefaces, although its design is not based on an actual restoration. It has 48 variants of 422 gliphs each. In addition, it offers two monospaced variants free of charge. Arazatí is the name of the location where Johnston was born in 1872, situated in San José, Uruguay. This typeface is a homage to his birthplace.
