ARB 85 Poster Script was designed by Alf Becker, Michael Adkins and released by The Fontry. ARB 85 Poster Script contains 2 styles and family package options. p > Beginning in January, 1932, Becker, at the request of then-editor E. Thomas Kelly, provided SIGNS of the Times publication's brand-new Art and Design section with an alphabet a month, a job forecasted to last just 2 years. Misjuding the popularity of the 'series,' it instead ran for 27 years, ending finally 2 months prior to Becker's death in 1959, for a grand total of 320 alphabets, a nearly perfect, undisturbed run. In late 1941, nearly 10 years after the very first alphabet was published, 100 of those alphabets were compiled and published in bookform under the title, '100 Alphabets,' by Alf R. Becker.
