Archie was developed by Hans van Maanen, Martin Meijer and released by Canada Type. Archie contains 8 styles and family bundle options. p > Archie is a broad attention-grabber based on a simple geometric alphabet drawn in the early 1930s by Dutch calligrapher and lettering artist Martin Meijer. This digital family expands considerably on the initial letters, adding biform shapes, little caps, italics across the board, and assistance for lots of Latin-based languages.

Archie's distinctive forms are meant for clear, smooth and strong message shipment. In its upright styles, strong vertical strokes emphasize the sense of self-confidence and value, and in its italics, that emphasis is more verified by a natural sense of seriousness. This type of alphabet is ideal for screen typography focusing on the glance-and-go crowd. When used appropriately and placed prominently, no eye can escape it.

The basic Archie family is comprised of six standard typefaces, while the Pro set combines all 3 uprights in one typeface and all three italics in another.
