Designed by Jan-Christian Bruun, Arkibal is a sans serif and stencil font style family. This typeface has eighteen styles and was released by JC Style Studio.

The motivation originates from some old files and store signs from my great-grandfather's old gold list factory from 1838. He provided hits for lots of artists of that time, and various museums in Copenhagen. I concern increases to make a mix of the timeless letter with a modern lift. And this include also a serif og display version.
Appears it was fascinating to try to reproduce some of the old characters and make a
new font. Uppercase G was the first letter of the starting point. G represent in danish Guldramme, which means Goldframe. Arkibal is originating from an almost old danish tradional name "Arkibald", just without "d".
