Arpona is a typeface with small wedge serifs and a strong character, suitable for business style and all jobs defined by a sense of individualism-- for example art, style, food, beverage and way of life topics.

Arpona is inspired by roman letters carved in stone however otherwise challenging to categorize. It is neither a pure serif nor a sans but rather a symbiosis of different design principles. Since of its display qualities, Arpona is an excellent option for product packaging, advertising and editorial style and is well legible even in running text on screen.

The household has 9 weights, varying from Thin to Black plus matching italics. Each style includes 590 glyphs supporting all western-, eastern- and central-european languages consisting of 4 sets of figures and numerous currency symbols.
