Created by Paulo Goode, Arundel is a display screen and blackletter font released by Paulo Goode.

My 3rd typeface release is Arundel, inspired by cast iron lettering above the previous Arundel store in my house town. I had actually been strolling past this iconic façade for over 2 years admiring their "heavy metal" style and could quickly imagine a typeface that might be used for band logo designs, posters and even product branding.

It is difficult to age the existing Arundel type, it is absolutely blacksmith-made and created in iron. Naturally, my marketing images play on that metallic feel.

I see Arundel as being a typeface that feels immediately in your home within the heavy metal category; posters, logo designs, etc., but could likewise work equally as well for branding craft beers, engineering items and high style lingerie ... all right, maybe not the underwear ... Arundel is mainly a screen typeface for titles/headlines in printed products. I envision designers will utilize Arundel for branding, packaging and marketing product and am keen to speak with anyone who uses it in their own work.

There are 2 design styles within this typeface, upper case letterforms are devoted to the original curvaceous design, whereas the lowercase letterforms are more angular with additional spurs.
