AspenDesigner: Ludwig Übele
Publisher: Ludwig Type
Aspen was designed by Ludwig Übele and published by Ludwig Type. Aspen contains 18 designs and family package alternatives. p > Aspen is a rejuvenating and durable typeface for text of any kind. Functional however not faceless, Aspen obtains an extremely unique character from an unusual pedigree. It is loosely affected by early American and European grotesques, but with more warmth and improved legibility. And where these historic models were stiff and large, Aspen's curves have a mild sway that produces very comfy reading. Relatively generous ascenders and descenders permit the typeface to feel spacious even when set with tight leading. These amiable qualities are matched with a lively italic based upon cursive writing. The family consists of 9 weights, and is meant for both text and display screen usage.
