This wood type revival is a rare specimen, indeed. Audebaud is a lovely and vibrant 19th Century Clarendon of French family tree. With its rounded terminals, and special percentages; this font will impart a joie de vivre in any design.
The design was inspired by the work of Continuous Audebaud. Audebaud was an engraver of wood type that was used for posters and so forth. His work appeared in the 1880s in the Deux-Sèvres département of France.
