Nox is an initial design established by Aurora Isaac. After more than a years in development, 2018 marks the very first release of the CJ and KB glyphsets in regular, italic, vibrant, and bold-italic.
The CJ glyphset is a complete text typeface supporting a range of European languages. A matching set of small-caps complements the extended lowercase and uppercase glyphsets. Supporting glyphs consist of basic ligatures, four variations of the ampersand, and check-mark and happy-face with their companions x-mark and grumpy-face.
Numbers are readily available in lining, oldstyle, and small variations with numerators and denominators for forming fractions. Buddy glyphs consist of Roman numerals, specialized glyphs for suggesting ordinals, and a variety of mathematical symbols and operators.
The CJ glyphset likewise includes a prolonged set of glyphs for typesetting Western Astrology. These glyphs are likewise readily available independently in the KB glyphset: a symbol font re-coded to permit easy keyboard access for the most typically used glyphs.
Though Nox stands well by itself as a text font, the more standard sans-serif forms of Aure Jane pair well as an innocuous foil to Nox's brazen presence.
Give Aure Nox a trial run! You might discover an irreversible location for this typeface family in your typographic palette.
