Auxerre is a Roman typeface with highlighted triangular serifs
A font like this one could have been developed in 18th century France. Kind of Baroque design was already typical then and dominated the look of printed matter. To some degree, Auxerre is a precursor of "Etienne," which became popular as a marketing script of the 19th century.
