Azur was designed by Gert Wiescher and released by Wiescher Design. Azur consists of 32 styles and household plan alternatives. p >" Azur" is my homage to the lovely Côte d'Azur and the Provence Alpes Maritime Area. Scott Fitzgerald loved it in Antibes, Juan les Pins is well-known for its Jazz, Cannes has that phantastic film festival and Monaco gets loud during the Grand Prix. This is the most celebrated part of the Mediterranean. "Azur" has timeless percentages with a couple of special letterforms here and there to provide the font style its distinct, captivating, Mediteranean character. Some ligatures and old design figures complete the sets. And the extra high xheight makes for outstanding reading. I added a soft cornered rounded variation to make it an even friendlier typeface. Of course there are real italic sets to make things complete. Delight in!
