Barteldes was created by James Puckett and published by Dunwich Type Creators. Barteldes contains 18 styles and household plan choices. p > Barteldes is a striking screen type family that reimagines traditional American letters for the twenty-first century. Barteldes is completely matched to editorial, advertising, and bundle design. Six weights can manage a large range of headlines. Size-specific fonts preserve hairlines in little, medium, and large sizes. Swash capitals jazz up words. And an expansive character set covers over 200 languages.

Barteldes is based upon American architectural lettering and sign painting. Uppercase were based upon architectural lettering by the Denver architectural company Gove & & Walsh and integrated in 1906. Lowercase letters were based on prototypes in Frank Atkinson's traditional manual "Indication Painting Already", released in 1909.
