Bazaruto was developed by Jim Lyles, Brian Bonislawsky and released by Stiggy & & Sands. Bazaruto consists of 13 styles and household bundle options. p > Our Bazaruto household was influenced by an old fashioned specimen from "Letters and Lettering" by Carlyle & & Oring, however you'll discover the motivation has been greatly expounded upon. What started as an all Capitals specimen has actually been fleshed out to an extended full character set with lots of functions and versions from the initial design.

Bazaruto has actually been a workout in typographic evolution. The original Art Deco style generated an Engraved version, then a Bodoni-esque text design, and after that a monoline version of that text design (both of the latter total with Obliques). However after that is when the real interpretations of form started with the development of the Iron fonts, playing off the original specimen having a visual flavor of wrought ironwork in them, and blending that into the Bodoni-esque typestyles. Lastly, a quick and loose hand drawn version of the Iron font styles and an ornaments font style were produced to add more range and spunk to the family.

The Bazaruto family is a visual grab bag of designs which all have an underlying consistency.
