Created by Brian J. Bonislawsky and Jim Lyles, Bazaruto is a numerous classification typeface family. This typeface has thirteen designs and was published by Stiggy & Sands.

The Bazaruto family was motivated by an old made specimen from "Letters and Lettering" by Carlyle & & Oring, but you'll find the inspiration has actually been considerably expounded upon. What began as an all Capitals specimen has been fleshed out to a prolonged complete character set with numerous features and variations from the initial design.

Bazaruto has actually been an exercise in typographic advancement. The initial Art Deco style spawned a Personalized version, then a Bodoni-esque text design, and then a monoline variation of that text design (both of the latter complete with Obliques).

.

But after that is when the genuine analyses of type began with the development of the Iron typefaces, playing off the original specimen having a visual taste of wrought ironwork in them, and mixing that into the Bodoni-esque typestyles.

.

Lastly, a reckless hand drawn version of the Iron typefaces and an ornaments font were created to add more range and spunk to the family.

.

The Bazaruto household is a visual grab bag of designs which all have an underlying harmony.
