Berimbau is a hand screen font family. This typeface has three designs and was published by PintassilgoPrints.

Berimbau is a whimsical narrow hand-drawn typeface. Itís stylish, versatile and filled with fantastic OpenType functions that do their magic in OpenType savvy applications.

Its sprightly swashes and twisting stylistic alternates (hey, say that 3 times quickly!) play together to deliver a really cool contextual feature that, in a push-button way, replaces the very first letter in a word with its left swash version and the last letter with its right swash variation (please type an area prior to and after the words to activate it). The feature also uses stylistic versions to some intermediate letters. Which button to press? The Contextual Alternates one!

If you're not a one-click-way-person you can select your favored glyphs through the glyphs combination. There youíll find a minimum of 4 variations for each letter: left swash, right swash and 2 regular kinds that represent the upper and lower case keys. Some letters also have a fifth variation that acts as stylistic alternate. This font style is conveniently loaded with the ëaccess all alternatesí functionality, so when you click on a glyph at the glyphs palette youíll see all variations available for it, making it simpler to choose the one that will fit better.

A vibrant weight was made to provide that extra-strength when a little boldness is welcome. Please keep in mind that it doesnít have the advanced OpenType functions (but is still very lovely!). Yet, both weights have a handy set of accessories for included yumminess.
