Black Monday is a distressed or "grunge" variation of James Puckett's Recovery typeface. The core of the Black Monday type household is a single Opentype font style containing three full character sets of varying degrees of distressing treatment. Every glyph in each of the subsets is special to supply a naturally weathered look and feel.

The 3 unique glyph sets are also readily available as individual font styles for usage in applications that do not yet support the Stylistic Sets Opentype function. These styles are identified as Subset 1, Subset 2, and Subset 3, while the full variation is simply "Black Monday Regular".
