Publisher: FontMesaBlack Pearl is a revival of an elaborate calligraphic font perhaps developed in between 1850 and 1870. I spent 2 years searching for all the letters of this typeface; when I found them all, I immediately went to deal with recreating this old classic. I was not able to find any numbers for the font, so new to this design are numbers, some punctuation and currency symbols. The Truetype and OpenType formats consist of a prolonged character set with Central and Eastern European accentuated letters.
Extra characters in this typeface are left and right pointing hands in location of the less than and higher than keys; a ship's wheel, located on the asterisk key; and a boat anchor on the bracket keys.
