The typeface explores the beauty of shapes and structures in nature. The illustrations are based on photos which have been traced by hand and are the outcome of a long term interest in the organic and erratic lines of naturally growing plants.

The idea for Blossomy came from numerous years ago by means of a series of paintings checking out forms and structures in nature. The describes for those paintings were traced in Illustrator and then moved onto canvas. The result was so simple and beautiful that the designers chose to keep working on new illustrations and integrate them in a font.

Blossomy can be used as individual illustrations or to produce patterns. The font covers a broad range of flora and fauna, consisting of pot flowers, a bonsai trees, leaves, flowers and grasses, and offers creatives a wide array of shapes to get influenced by and use in their work.
