Designed by Gert Wiescher, Bodoni Classic Hand is a hand drawn font household. This typeface has 4 designs and was published by Wiescher-Design.

I ended up being interested in designing Bodoni Classic since of a lazy graphic designer at Jacques Damase releasing home. He needed to change a single letter on a bookcover about J. B. BODONI. The French call him Jean Baptiste rather of Giambattista! And that unidentified graphic designer simply took any old "J" from some freshly cut Bodoni.

All the brand-new Bodoni cuts have square serifs, whereas the originals had actually rounded serifs and somewhat concave feet. The single letter "J" with the squared off serif was for me like a roadway sign to begin revamping the whole Bodoni family.
