The Boo Cat is a blocky typeface with a halftone style gradient texture. One of the huge inspirations for this font was retro comic printing so I tried to keep the background slightly messy to record that look.

It was originally launched in 1997 as an all-caps font style with mixed plain and textured characters however was just recently upgraded to consist of lowercase letters and complete versions of both background options.
