Boring Sans, created by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini, is a typeface household developed along two variable axis: weight and weirdness. These two specifications allow designers to check out a complete range of variations on sans serif design, beginning from a neutral set of proportions and evolving to a highly contrasted and vibrant treatment, all set to raise eyebrows on social media.

The fundamental 'A' subfamily, established in five weights plus italics, behaves like a traditional, solid workhorse sans serif, with finely tuned percentages for optimal readability and very little emotional impact. The 'B' subfamily, established in the same ten weights, shows a more contemporary 'brutal' approach, with slanted lines, deep ink traps and stronger contrast. All these functions are given the extreme in the 10 weights of the 'C' subfamily, with each letter a bombastic show of abundant weirdness. Each of the design variation is established in 5 weight with matching italics, with a glyph set covering prolonged latin languages and including numerous alternate forms and stylistic sets.
