Bovary is a classy, stylized and expressive script font style influenced by those beautiful calligraphies of yesteryear, but in a contemporary point of view. Bovary is full of character! When I developed it, I began with the Clauques Script. Therefore, Bovary can be perfectly integrated with Clauques Sans.
Bovary consisted of nearly 900 glyphs with lots of stylistic variations, swashes, ending and initial types, catchwords, and ligatures for both uppercase and lowercase, assuring nearly boundless mix possibilities. In addition, the font includes a set of very beneficial accessories to integrate and give an ornamental aspect to the calligraphic text.
All our typefaces are thoroughly managed and evaluated in both aspects: readability and technical aspects. We handle the kerning pairs, optimization of hinting details to avoid pixel grid, and the accurate programs of the OpenType features; along with drawing smooth curves points and the final touch of each glyph.
Remember that to access all additional characters, you need to utilize software that is truly suitable with OpenType, such as Adobe CS applications, or we advise using the Glyphs combination.
This family font style is perfect for logos, publications and book covers, style, headlines and brief expressions, cards, posters, sites, and packaging. Bovary is the brand name brand-new modern script, designed by Carine de Wandeleer and released by Eurotypo.
