Bowen Script was created by Andrew Ashton and released by Ashton. Bowen Script includes 1 design. p > The font was inspired by the persistent demands of editors for scripts which actually looked like real handwriting, a lot of historic fiction projects and a love of maps. While making a map for a prequel to Treasure Island I chose to make a font style from the lettering of some Caribbean maps of the duration.

The glyphs are all hand drawn vector details which although really readable and consistent in design carry the variation and irregularity you get out of handwriting.

This font has actually been featured on maps for books by authors such as Peter V. Brett, Mark Lawrence and Michael Crichton.
