Brauhaus was created by Matthew Desmond and released by MADType. Brauhaus includes 3 styles and family package alternatives. p > I enjoy and am motivated by lots of blackletter styles, however find that their uppercase characters are typically too intricate to be extremely usable. I likewise found that extremely few, if any were created with perfect 45 degree angles. I set out to create a textura blackletter with distinct functions and a usable uppercase. What resulted is an intriguing, yet functional, geometric design with unusual features that make it stand out from existing texturas.
