Brilliance was created by Christian Thalmann and released by Catharsis Fonts. Brilliance includes 2 styles and family plan choices. p > Sparkle is a glamorous modern screen blackletter integrating the abundant tapestry of Textura with a hint of the airy lightness of Spencerian script, suitable for display screen purposes. In addition to abundant, swashy capitals and crisp, rhythmic lowercase letters, Brilliance offers a set of distinct little capitals modeled on condensed Roman lettershapes. They can be used to change the lowercase (SMCP feature) for an extremely condensed entitling design, or to change the capitals (C2SC function) for a compact, legible text style.

Like all Catharsis Fonts products, Luster includes extensive language assistance, ligatures, and contextual and stylistic alternates, and cautious spacing and kerning. The beginning and ending flourishes in the last poster images can be acquired either via stylistic alternates of the guillemets (""), or by typing two or three guillements in a row.

Acknowledgements: Sparkle was designed entirely in the Glyphs Application, though it carefully follows a calligraphic style I established for myself with the broad-nib pen, which in turn makes use of many motivations from standard and contemporary blackletter calligraphy. The typeface greatly benefited from handy feedback from the Typophile and TypeDrawers forums. The background texture in the promotional posters is by MGB-Stock. This font is devoted to Simone, who provided me a Pilot Parallel Pen for my birthday and hence set all of this in motion.
