It took Hannes von Döhren and Livius Dietzel 2 years to develop and finish the Brix Sans family-- the buddy of the well-known Brix Piece. The method was to create an independent type household following the rules of the "Sans-Serif" category, balancing with its older sis Brix Piece from the "Slab-Serif" genre. The outcome is a family of 6 weights with matching italics, which works completely for business design & & editorial design. Integrated with Brix Piece, high and complex typographical challenges can be solved.
The Brix Sans OpenType typefaces feature little caps, 5 variations of numerals, arrows and a prolonged character set to support Central and Eastern European as well as Western European languages.
