Broadgauge Ornate was developed by Michael Hagemann and released by FontMesa. Broadgauge Ornate consists of 3 designs and household plan options. p > Broadgauge Ornate stemmed from MacKellar, Smiths & & Jordan in 1869 and was just available as an all caps font with numbers.

Today this old lovely wood type rises once again from the archives total with initial numbers and an all new lowercase. An all caps Greek character set has also been included plus accented characters for western, main and Eastern European countries.

Included in each font file are 2 sets of left and right pointing hands found on the Less Than and Greater Than secrets and also on the Bracket keys.

Because this font works well with a Las Vegas theme I've decided to make the pointing hands betting related with one set of hands rolling dice and the other holding cards.

The condensed versions were developed because in today's computer graphics applications people stretch and condense font styles to fit their project but don't discover the change in vertical stroke widths or line thickness.

After compressing the letter shapes of each Broadgauge Ornate condensed font style the vertical lines were fixed ensuring they were the correct width or thickness.

The outcomes are balanced condensed versions that weren't just compressed with out consideration for their appearance.
