Developed by David Kerkhoff, Brochette is a hand display typeface family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Hanoded.

A 'Brochette' in French is a skewer. I used to be a tour guide and some years earlier, I assisted a couple of tours in Mali. Every night at supper we had the choice of a 'Brochette de Capitaine' (grilled Nile perch on a skewer) or a 'Brochette de Bœuf' (grilled beef on a skewer). Naturally, every night the Brochette featured French french fries and 'petits pois' (peas). It was actually nice, however after 4 months of consuming Brochettes, I longed for something different!

Brochette is an extremely nice rounded font style. It comes with curls, swirls and swashes.
