Bronsimard, a font influenced by Henri-Paul Bronsard's Kébek 101, developed in 1972 and used to develop the logo and headings of the everyday paper Le Jour, established in 1978. After all these years, Bronsard contacted his previous student to propose an innovative venture focused on drawing a variation of Kébek 101 from concepts contained in his research study efforts. Simard adjusted Kébek 101 to create
Bronsimard, a great mix of character and harmony which we hope will give free rein to your creativity. The result is a vertically elongated font with very sharp contrasts, somewhat similar to Bodoni and Didot.
