Bronto was designed by Diego Aravena Silo and published by W Foundry. Bronto consists of 20 designs and family package options. p > Bronto is a typeface that mutated lot of times: it went from being morphologically traditional, to have soft functions, to lastly have some inverted contrasts that made it more dynamical; but all this without losing sight of the meaning of a typefamily, and the goal pursued by this work: Bronto does not behave as a piece of art, however as a tool.

In some weights, this typeface has fluffy characteristics and is boldly bighead, while in other variations is slightly contrasted and controlled; this in order to keep the important features of the typefamily along the versatility and usability of the 20 variations that composed it.

Bronto it's motivated in neo humanists typographies of the 20th century, and in Chilean lettering. This type of work was made by the spontaneity of the paintbrush, which offered an inverted contrast to some characters.

This typeface has plenty of OpenType functions, specially a comprehensive set of ligatures in all weights. Bronto is well matched for motion graphics, letterings, web, advertisings, publications and books.
