Brownstone Slab was developed by Alejandro Paul and released by Sudtipos. Brownstone Slab includes 6 styles and family package choices. p > Alejandro Paul's Brownstone Piece is based upon his own popular, award-winning, Brownstone Sans typeface.

Like the initial Sans, Brownstone Piece is a 21st-century design, affected by the Victorian ornamental concepts of the ironwork and carved decors of New York City row homes. Brownstone Slab's sturdy serifs make it somewhat more manly and solid than its predecessor.

As with Brownstone Sans, Brownstone Slab includes character sets for Latin-based languages, consisting of Western and Eastern European, Baltic, Turkish, Maltese, Celtic and Welsh. It consists of over 1500 glyphs, including little capitals, swash characters, alternates, and ligatures, in both Light and Thin weights. Ornamental frames are offered in all weights.
