Alejandro Paul's Brownstone Piece is based upon his own popular, acclaimed, Brownstone Sans typeface.
Like the initial Sans, Brownstone Piece is a 21st-century design, affected by the Victorian ornamental themes of the ironwork and carved designs of New York City row houses. Brownstone Piece's strong serifs make it somewhat more masculine and solid than its predecessor.
As with Brownstone Sans, Brownstone Piece includes character sets for Latin-based languages, consisting of Western and Eastern European, Baltic, Turkish, Maltese, Celtic and Welsh. It consists of over 1500 glyphs, consisting of little capitals, swash characters, alternates, and ligatures, in both Light and Thin weights. Decorative frames are offered in all weights.
