Originally, I called it Compagnon, however that appeared to pompous. Then I called it Aide, however that was too formal and dry. It's a loose, free, easy to check out sans, so when my spouse suggested Buddy, it clicked.
This is the 4-font Friend family of Regular, Italic, Bold, & & Vibrant Italic. I made a new, more restricted function set for these typefaces due to their created use, but there are still small caps, small cap figures, oldstyle figures, numerators, and denominators. The strong is closer to a black, and the italics are just slightly slanted obliques. If you need a strong black in caps, use the small caps of the bold.
