The motivation for this typeface came from a wall-writing in Cuba. Initially glimpse we thought: "There is something incorrect with the wall-writing." But a closer look revealed, that it just blended various stroke-styles.
That "feature" became the developing principle behind CA Segundo: round characters like O, U or C are available either with a fat or a thin stroke, whereas other characters with orthogonal lines been available in 2 different designs-- uppercase characters highlight the vertical strokes, while lower cases highlight the horizontal strokes.
This gives you the chance to design just while you type.
