Publisher: Cape Arcona Type FoundrySpy Royal is a junction-less script typeface and is available in 6 designs. It's a hybrid in between script and so called enhance font styles. The origins are based on a marketing by Japan Airlines, dated around 1954, providing flights to San Francisco, Honolulu and Okinawa in the brand-new DC-6B "Pacific Courier" plane. Only the letters for the words "JAPAN AIR LINES" were used, so that the imaginative part was to reimagine a complete font style out of just a handful of uppercase letters.
Originally released in 2004, Spy Royal was now going through a significant rework and is now republished with additional designs like shadow-lines and 3D-shadow.
Its charm is manifold, we believe everything associated to cars and trucks, racing, racer, vintage, cocktails, retro, dining establishments, gasoline and obviously airline companies will look fantastic in Spy Royal.
Spy Royal includes alternate characters, ligatures and West European diacritics.
